HEROES United: Standing Against Bullying
Our Mission
The mission of HEROES Against Bullying is to educate children and adults on the importance of bullying prevention while also providing funding to organizations within the Central Arkansas community that are fostering the H.E.R.O. mindset to our youth, which is to be Helpful, Encouraging, Respectful, and Open to others.
CRITICAL NEED FOR HEROES
Approximately 160,000 students avoid going to school each day because they fear they will be bullied.
1 in 7 students in Grades K-12 is either a bully or a victim of bullying.
90% of students report having been bullied or harassed by the time they reach 8th grade.
